The World's Largest S'more Built in Virginia!

On June 17th, 2006 Virginia State Parks celebrated their 70th Anniversary and to commemorate this historic event Virginia State Park offered special programs, children's activities, educational programs/tours and even reduced park admissions back to 10 cents as it was back in 1936.

The World's Largest S'more was built at First Landing State Park at a record breaking 1,936 square feet! Created with 8,000 Hershey’s™ milk chocolate bars, 40,000 Campfire™ marshmallows and 55,000 Honey Maid™ graham crackers.

From golden brown to dark and crispy, there was plenty of S’mores to go around. Congratulations to park staff, volunteers and campers who helped erect this tower of temptation at First Landing State Park in Virginia.
