Ingredients:
- 1 Egg
- 5 egg whites
- 1 ½ cups of low fat or skim milk
- ¼ cup sweetener or sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. of cinnamon
- Powdered Sugar (Optional)
- 8 slices of white or whole-wheat bread
Directions:
Combine and whisk together eggs, milk, sweetener,
vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
Spray pan or griddle with non-stick spray. Pre-heat
at medium to medium high heat. Soak the bread
slices in egg mixture until moistened. Place bread
slice on griddle or frying pan. Grill until bottom
of bread is browned and then flip with spatula
to the other side. Serve warm with sprinkled cinnamon
and powdered sugar (Optional)
