Wildwood State Park comprises 600 acres of undeveloped hardwood forest terminating on the high bluff overlooking Long Island Sound.

State park features that add value to the park
  • Swimmers can take advantage of the cool waters of the Sound, and picnickers can relax at shaded picnic tables as their children enjoy the nearby playground. Visitors can fish and use the hiking and cross-country ski trails.

  • Fall Festival first weekend in October.

Camping Tips

  • Pets are not allowed at the park.
  • All campfires must be in metal containers above ground. Bring your own barbeque or metal fire container. 
  • Fire wood is for sale at the park.
  • The camper must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a site.
  • No alcoholic beverages permitted

Directions

Take the Long Island Expressway to exit 68N. Go north on route 46 (WM Floyd  Parkway) to route 25A east. Bear left onto Sound Ave. Turn left at traffic light onto Hulse Landing Road. Park entrance is on the right. Follow signs in park to the park office.
