For the safety and comfort of our guests, pets are not permitted at any of Kentucky’s lodges or cottages. Leashed pets are allowed in park campgrounds and on trails, with the lone exception of the trails at Natural Bridge State Resort Park.

Exploring the Arches” Guided Hikes at Natural Bridge 7/15/06
For the adventurous only! Join a naturalist for these guided hikes throughout Kentucky’s land of the arches. You’ll get a good look at the area’s rugged cliff lines, rock houses, rhododendrons, and natural arches. Destinations include White’s Branch Arch, Whittleton Arch, Kentucky’s Natural Bridge, and many other lesser known arches! Each trip is a different distance varying from 6 to 12 miles. Registration fee of $15 includes guide, sack lunch, and Natural Bridge Trail Guide bandana. For information call 800-325-1710.

Kentucky State Old-time Fiddler’s Contest at Rough River Dam
7/21/06-7/23/06
Bring your lawn chairs and listen to the great music provided by some of the best musicians from the state of Kentucky. Fiddles, harmonicas, banjos, guitars, bluegrass bands, jig dancing, dulcimer and much more! Admission will be $6 and children 10 and under are admitted free. In case of rain the contest will be moved inside. For information call 800-325-1713.

3rd Annual Greenbo Junior Fishing Tournament at Greenbo Lake 7/29/06
Junior fishing tournament for children 15 years and under. Prizes awarded in each age group for the biggest fish caught and the most fish caught. Age groups are 3 – 5, 6 – 8, 9 – 12, and 13 – 15. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. and the fishing tournament starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes to noon. No registration fee. For information call 800-325-0083.
