The NRRS (National Recreation Reservation Service) is a one - stop reservation service for the the USDA Forest Service, Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation outdoor recreation facilities and activities.

BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE AREA WILDERNESS
You may now complete Lottery Applications for BWCAW wilderness permits for the 2006 season. Lottery applications can be submitted by internet until 5pm CST on January 15, 2006. Applications submitted by mail or fax must be received by 5pm CST on January 10, 2006. To submit a Lottery application online please visit the website at http://www.bwcaw.org .

SPECIAL EVENTS

Lewis and Clark Expedition which took place between 1804 and 1806, has been described as the greatest camping trip of all time, a voyage of high adventure, an exercise in manifest destiny which carried the American flag overland to the Pacific.

Junior Ranger Program
Kids can become park rangers themselves through the Junior Ranger program. Junior Rangers demonstrate that they have what it takes to preserve and understand the importance of our national treasures. Almost every National Park has a Junior Ranger program—some are even online!
